E36 BMW 328i
Sensible mods make this incredible value for a starter track car. These are beautifully balanced, and they go very well indeed when suitably lightened. You won't get the best grip out of these Uniroyals, but if you are just wanting to sample track driving for the first time, this makes a lot of sense. Drive it there, drive it hard, drive it home. Perfect.
Bike Engined Mini
OK so this is not your usual stuff and it ain't cheap, but I was watching one of these on track the other day, so it seemed appropriate to have it here. Prepared to a very high standard this looks stunning, and holy smokes are they fast. Get your cheque book out and buy a slice of heritage meets modernity meets insanity.
Westfield
This appears to be relatively good value for the engine and spec that it involves. These engines are rev-crazy and I can see this being a worthy alternative to bike-power, and a little more flexible into the bargain. Naturally any Westfield or Caterham makes an amazing track car owing to the low weight, so you could have a lot of fun in this.
Evo 6
This advertiser could have taken a bit more time with this advert, and perhaps run a spell checker over it, but, my god, how much horsepower do you want for your money?
